What is Meditation?

Meditation is the silencing of the mind.  It causes deep relaxation of the mind and body.
The benefits include calming, oneness, stillness of the mind and body.  Cultures have been using meditation or centuries and harp on its benefits.  Meditation is a great way to de-stress.  I meditate everyday and night brfore bed.

Dealing with Stress

Dealing with stress can be very difficult for some and easier for others. 
Stress has dehibiltating affects on the body that can result in hyperacidity, unbalanced hormones
and lack of sleep to just name a few.  Meditation and deep breathing can help reduce stress and its negative effects.  Acupuncture is also good resource.  A balanced diet and exercise also does well for reduction in stress.
